Thousands of children have passed through our premises. And while the reform of the social protection system leads to a reduction in the number of wards and their transfer to foster families, we continuously work to improve conditions for those who are still with us, as well as for new wards who join us.
At the "Jefimija" Home, we have the privilege of supporting not only high school students, but also young wards attending elementary school, including those at the "Veselin Nikolić" Special School. Our experiences show that many of these children come with difficult life stories and traumas due to abuse within the family environment.
